This was the gaiking live trailer that we did for Jules Urbach from Otoy and Toei Japan.

 

I work in the pilot design and the cockpit,first I did both in 3d and they like a lot, after they decided to build for film.

 

I work in the gaiking model too in some technical aspects like texture and Uv maps.

 

As I did the pilot suit and the cockpit from scratch I haven't any concept to show,but I have a couple rough concepts that I did trying to redesign the old Gaiking to show.

I work in the way to give all the accent to the giant face in the chest.

Finally they decided to work in the original shape and we try an all black color scheme.
